This week was a little anti-climactic. I was hoping to have one last week of hard training before
Wilkes Barre, my first Olympic distance race of the season, but I am still struggling with a few nagging injuries. Between some serious calf issues that have been holding me back all season and the shoulder issues that have flared up recently, I ended up missing my swim workouts and cutting a run workout short.
Overall, I still feel like I'm ready to race this weekend and look forward to improving on my performance from last year. We'll have to see what happens.
