Im stuck, im just into my second week of my program and have been reading and looking around for ways to bring strenght training into my program but with no succes, im not a memeber of a gym and with no loose weights to my disposal. Is there any other alternert ways or suggestion that a person can use to get strength training as part of your program, feels a bit doff asking question but need help.
Nate,
Another question. I have the choice of going to LP for a long ride on June 6th or June 20th. It's a bit of car ride, so I'd like to make it worthwhile and do 2 loops.
I want to avoid going riding this long on a recovery week. Are you able to peek ahead in the schedule and tell me whether either of these falls on a recovery week's Saturday? Other than that, I can't think of a reason why one weekend would be better than the other. Can you?
Quick question: There will be several weekends during which Sunday is the only weekend day that I can do a long ride. I usually know well in advance, so there’s pently of opportunity to adjust workouts. Is it OK to simply move the long run to Saturday, or is there some other way I should adjust the schedule to accommodate riding long on Sunday?
I reply'd to you comments and thanks. I didn't realize you were from CO. I love it out there. We(my in-laws) have a place in Breck that we visit a couple times a year to ski.
Hey Scott! Welcome back to the wonderful world of racing. Glad things have settled down enough for you so you can re-focus and get back out there. Yep, those 300 workouts are killer, but they do get easier (in some respects). Enjoy!
Nate, I am back from a long "no racing" hiatus. I have to say those 300 workouts are going to kill me. Looking forward to the trianinig challenges ahead. Thanks for the forum! You and Mike have done a nice job.
