Scott- So nice to meet you. I'm not a duathlon person (I need the swim to equalize my nonexistent running ability) but I had fun! See you up in LP and Happy Training!
hey there, yeah i didn't know he was racing it, but actually sent him an email to see how he's doing "one year later". what a difference in weather, huh?
anyway, how's your training going? i'm pretty sore today from biking 90 saturday and running the hook mtn half marathon yesterday. but overall it's going great for me... next up harriman half IM. uuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhhhh........
Hi Margaret,
Just checking in to see how it's going. I think the barriers come down at Harriman this week. Hopefully we can ride together up there soon.
be well,
Mark
How's the training going margaret? Trying to stick to the "intensity" this week which has been really hard. Have been out as much as 56 on the bike and run 10. Looking for the spring!! Hope you're doing good!
Hi Margaret,
Thanks for reaching out yesterday. It's always nice breaking down the cyber wall and meeting another triathlete! I'll likely be at RCC more often so I hope to see you there or at Rockland Lake. I'd love some company climbing the Hook ;)
hey margaret, hope all is well in the new year.
we're planning a group computrainer ride at cadence cycling in NYC, saturday morning jan 31 at 9am for 2 hours. trying to max out at 24 riders, we have about 20 right now. it will be about $25-$30 for the 2 hours if you're interested. i've never been on a computrainer so it will be a novelty... nice to get out of the basement if nothing else!
if you are interested, write back ASAP to george samala (on this site) who is setting it up... only a few spots left, i wanted to get this to you in case you want to go!
happy training!
We would love to have you join us any Saturdays. Come on over today if your schedule works out - a good way to start the new year on the right track (and to begin building those well needed legs for IMLP).

Hello, Margaret.
Yes, I'm signed up. Did IMLP '06 and took a couple of years off from the long stuff. Looking forward to a more relaxed approach.
