I am just catching up here. I hope that the training is going well. I really enjoy this program, and now repeating it again I still like it, and not "bored" with it. I read a thread that you had written about doing a run/walk program for the running portion of the training. I am going to use the Jeff Galloway method for training for the run portion this year. He has a lot of books out, and uses the run/walk method. Last year due to the heat I did end up walking a lot. It was extremely hot, and I think for about 80% of the field it turned into all about finishing. There were a lot of sick people out on the run course, due to the fact that they had pushed themselves too hard. Keep in touch, and keep up the good work~!
Hi Laurie! I just wanted to drop you a note and say hi. I did IM LOU last year, and I am signed up for it again in 2009. If you have any questions along the way please feel free to ask I used the Free Ultra Distance program last year, and plan to use it again. Through all the training I remained injured free, and felt good.
