Hi There,
My Ironman is at April 2010. My Swimming ability is poor and I find the swimming sessions in the plan too hard for me. Since the IM is so far away and the ROI of swimming is very low I'm thinking of changing the swimming parts of the plan. So instead I'm doing 2 GYM sessions and I want to add 1-2 short swimming sessions just to build it up slowly.
Any suggestions of how should those sessions look like? what should I focus on?
Note: I know how to swim and so I don't need 1:1 sessions.
Thanks

If your swimming is that poor, masters or group lessons will do you the most good. Since you have so much time to work on your stroke you might as well start out with some good habits. Good luck.

Thanks Kevin.
Well, my swimming style is not that poor (I did finish the olympic distance in 25 minutes) , but lets just say that I'm not feeling comfortable in the water and I get tired quickly. Right now, what I'm doing is, after the GYM session I go to the pool for 20 minutes and work on my strokes count as followed:
Warmup: 100 swim, 100 kick, 100 pull, 100 swim. MS: 10x25 Stoke Count.
I'm just looking for some exercises to improve that.
