Looking for peoples opinion on using a power meter for training for long course. Is the expense worth it for the training and racing benefits?

looking for a good free online training plan for a spring century ride anyone know one? or do I just suck it up and ride a lot

Hi all, I'm new to this site and having completed a half iron man in september am looking to do a full Iron Man next year. Any tips for what to be doing over the winter..in this part of the UK it rains a lot in the winter (no suprise there) and is pretty windy. No prolonged snow though. Any advice would be gratefully received. Also I help run a tri club and have a number of novice cyclists - any advice on training for them..I usually take then for 25 miles once a week but some interval suggestions or other plans to help break the monotony would be good. Racing @ St. Anthony's and have Bontrager Aero Racelite wheels. Have been thinking about getting a "faster wheel" and cassette(11-23) for flat course racing. Any ideas on an upgrade?
