Stevens Point YMCA Lactic Edge Triathlon

Come join us for this event's 20th anniversary!!!The Stevens Point Lactic Edge Triathlon is hosting events for all age categories. Kids under age 12 race on Friday evening. On Saturday, Teens age 13-15/16-18 compete in the 2-4-2 Tri, starting one wave ahead of adults. The course for adults is sprint distance: swim 500 y swim, 18 miles bike, 3.1 mile run. PREREGISTRATION FOR ALL EVENTS CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT, JULY 8. (On-site registration incurs additional fees.)
Additional Information:
Award divisions include individual by age category, relay team, and optional Athena/Clydesdale classes. "Athena" are females over 150 lbs and "Clydesdale" are males over 200 lbs. Bright swim caps and helmets are mandatory. Wetsuits are allowed. iPods and other personal audio devices are prohibited. Elite wave placement provided at check-in upon request. Absolutely no athletes under age 16 for the individual adult race. Those under age 18 may be contacted for interview and references. Teen race is for ages 13-15 and 16-18 or older individuals wishing to either chaperon a teen or accomplish a shorter course. As a chaperon, separate registration is required.
