Long Meadow Time Trial

The Long Meadow Time Trial is approximately a 14.5 mile out-and-back time trial along Long Meadow Road, a gorgeous country rolling road just outside of Harriman State Park . We say 14 to 14.5 miles because it will depend on where we place the turn around.
We will be parking and starting at the International Paper complex, which is located at 1422 Long Meadow Road, Tuxedo NY 10987. Thats the address you should use for mapquest. I would consider it a fast course, but there are a few tough rollers each way. It is a great blend of power, speed and fast powerful climbing. In our best estimation, this is a course which might favor a TT bike, or a road bike with aeroclips, yet we would suggest your fastest equipment. Aero bars, disc wheels and time trial bikes will be permitted for this race.

There will be *No* same-day registration. You must pre-register at BikeReg. Bikereg registration closes July 30th, Thursday at 11:59pm (ie. midnight) Race participants will be emailed start times thereafter. Start times will also be posted at http://www.pelotoneast.com You must present an annual USCF license, or you will be required to purchase a one-day license at the registration tables on race day. First rider is off at 8am.


We now offer an Eddy Category: Riders racing in the Eddy Category can not use a) a time trial bike b) aerobars or extensions, c) a disc wheel or d) an aero helmet. This category is intended for those without the benefit of aerodynamic equipment.

JUNIORS AND LADIES RACE FOR FREE: To help promote the sport, Trade Manage Capital has agreed to subsidize the entry fee of all juniors and woman participants, such that their entry fee shall be free. You must register online here and pay $10.00 if you are a woman or junior, and that $10.00 shall be refunded to you on race day at the registration tables. **Important: It is highly recommended that your bring a trainer for warmup. There will be No warming up on the course. Last year, the police were not pleased with the # of riders milling around near the start line. There is absolutely no warming up on the race course. Anyone warming up on the course will be disqualified without exception. There isa small section of road to the north of the course, turn right when you come out of the IP parking lot, but it is only a mile or so of riding with a small hill. And, it may be the case, come race-day, that we can not permit warming up below the course either. So bring a trainer. Make it easy.
Sign in: and start at the International Paper parking lot/race start area, 7am, first rider off at 8am.

The Team Trial event will follow the indvidual categories and we will do everything reasonably possible to ensure that riders can do both an individual category and the Team event. If it is not possible, then the person can choose what they want to do, and the monies for the other category will be refunded. Riders in top contention for NJBA TT Cup points may have a scheduling issue and thus be unable to ride the TTT. We will not known until after registration closes. Monies will be refunded if we are not able to schedule your TTT properly.
