Event Description
Part of the Lactic Edge Triathlon, the 2-4-2 is integrated into the adult course and is designed to be a challenge for budding athletes age grouped 13-15 and 16-18. The 2-4-2 gets its name from the course distance: Swim 200 meters (a short distance, but in open water, its a new experience), Bike 4 miles (short and safe to those unfamiliar with traffic rules), and run 2k (to keep the whole event around 30-40 minutes of adrenaline-driven exertion).
